JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 29 - School Conferences

Parents should not have to go to jail if the miss their child's school conference. Sometimes the parents can't TRANSFER the school conference into their schedule  They sometimes SEEK to go but can't because they need to work. Their kid sometime do not tell them about and that is their only RESOURCE for school activities. Parents need to support the family can need to work to keep their child in school and a roof over their head. Parents shouldn't get jail time for missing their child's school conference.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 28 - Truant Students

 The students have to right to say no to anything that makes them feel uncomfortable. If truant students are made to wear GPS on them it might take them out of their ELEMENT to learn in school. The ADMINISTER of schools should know what is good for the students and will not have them wear GPSs. The CONDUCT of making truant students wear GPSs is wrong because it will make them uncomfortable and not able to learn. Students shouldn't have to wear GPSs.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 27 - Drug Sniffing Dogs

I believe that drug-sniffing dogs should  be allowed at school because it will make the school safer and drug free. According to  Shawn Doherty  The Capital Times , "Wisconsin and Federal court decisions says that rug-sniffing dogs are allowed to sniff student lockers for drug" (SOURCE). This shows that other states should RESPOND to this by allowing drug-sniffing dogs in other every states.This also shows that if drug-sniffing dogs are allowed in school kids would be more safe from drugs than normal. When teachers ASSUME drugs are in the school they are usually there and found by drug-sniffing dogs.  According to Drug Dogs Pros and Cons, "Kids that bring drugs to school and do them have negative influences on students who don't do drugs and will make them want to try drugs." (SOURCE). This shows that drug-sniffing dogs are only suppose to RESPOND to drugs and get them and the kids that bring them out of the school. This also shows that if we would allow drug-sniffing dogs in schools that kids that do drugs would make them not bring them to schools and maybe stop. In conclusion,drug-sniffing dogs should be allowed in schools to keep schools drug free.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 26 - Cars

Cars shouldn't be able to drive themselves yet. Th Method that Google is using isn't perfect yet. A lot of issues can OCCUR right now since our A.I. Technology isn't good enough. Google can PROCEED with this technology and sell it on the market but there will be a lot of issues. We should wait for better A.I. technology before we do anything like this.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 25 - Concealed Carry

 People should be able to carry a concealed gun because it is for protection. Carrying a gun a JUSTIFIED by the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment specifically INDICATES that the states have the right to bear arms. The court has ESTABLISHED that right extends to private citizens. There are places which a concealed gun is necessary. 

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 24 - Online Learning

Online isn't as productive as classroom learning. Classroom learning  is more productive because you get an hands on experience. The teacher can CLARIFY the classwork and homework better because it is easier to understand someone in person better. The student can DIFFERENTIATE the productiveness of a hands one experience than having to do it online which is as productive as a classroom. I know some students are more comfortable in the AREA of their home but they need to learn how to be soical for they can be more ready when they go into the real world.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 23 - Dog Fighting

Dog fighting shouldn't be allowed because it is wrong to abuse a life form. Those dogs have the POTENTIAL to live a healthy long lives but dog fighting have made them aggressive and have lost the change to live a healthy life. To some people dog fighting is their FORMULA to have fun and make money but it is wrong. You can tell the DISTINCTIVE features in a fighting god and a normal dog , the fighting dog has a lot of scars while the other dog doesn't.  I hate it when innocence life forms gets abused because I use to get abused.
