Should parents face jail time for missing their child's school conference?

I don't think parents should be sent to jail for not going to their kid's conference. Teachers should put a different RESOURCE for parents to find out how their kids are doing. Parents and teachers should SEEK out a different way to try to make students do better in school. Student should TRANSFER them to a class that matches their GPA.
